An autumn afternoon overlooking the two ponds east of Lily Pad Lake, and across the distant mountains, inspired this colourful studio piece. A 9" x 12" oil sketch was painted on the spot, along with several photographs to work from in the studio. It's the artist's hope to capture the feeling of wonder and awe experienced before this remaining area of untouched wilderness, and to share some of it with others who seldom have the opportunity.
